Glen Starkey had the swell idea to do the Laguna Lake Fitness Course for New Times’ Health & Fitness special issue, so he tapped the fittest person he knows, Kristen Meisenheimer, Cal Poly chemistry assistant professor (AKA Kristen Black, rock goddess), and Glen’s wife Anna Starkey, and together the three met on Saturday, Jan. 10 to complete the ten-station course. The slide show begins with Glen and Kristen’s text message exchange and follows Kristen and Anna (Glen took the photos and wheezed mostly) as they attempted the course.
