At the beginning of April, picketers in Santa Maria and Oxnard showed support for farmworkers striking in Baja Mexico. The strike started on March 17, and is targeted at Driscoll's because of low wages and unfair working conditions in the fields of a company that sells berries to the U.S.-based producer.
